These are only fanfiction related questions.
1.
How do I submit something?
Check out guidelines here. You will also find a link to the form for submitting if you agree to the terms.
2. Some of the features of Version 4.0 isn't on the other layouts.
I have yet to transfer them. But most likely I will get rid of those layouts and chalk them up as past layouts, which they are. I decided to get rid of them. A less of a bother to me.
3. What pairings do you accept?
Please send only Inuyasha x Kagome related items. But say for example it's a Miroku x Sango but it has a good deal of Inuyasha x Kagome or they're a supporting/main couple then most likely I'll host it up. If not, I doubt it. This doesn't mean don't submit it. I might suprise you.
4. What do you mean by "tastfully done lemons"?
Nothing that would have a porno company give it a two thumbs -way- up. Imagery. Nothing that would fall under "Wham Bam Thank You M'am." Setting the mood is important. Try reading my tutorial on Writing A Lemon under the Articles section.
5. My story isn't here. Did I do something wrong?
Relax. I probaly haven't updated just yet. If it got lost I'd probaly email you within the time I realize this. If it wasn't accepted I'd email you.
6. What if I need something changed in my archived story?
Just email me with any of those changes. Use gohanxvidel[at]yahoo.com with the subject "Change Fiction." Please make sure to give me enough imformation so I know what you're talking abouy.
7. Can I submit fanfiction that isn't mine?
I know. I know. I would like to have your work and not someone elses. But I decided maybe to the above question. If you have a favorite fanfiction written by someone else and would
like to see it archived here first and foremost, ask permission from the original author to post his
or her work. I cannot accept fanfiction if the
original author does not give permission for his or her work to be
published here.
Next, be sure to include the author's name in the "name," box for the form and their email in the "email," section. In the comments section mention it isn't yours and that you're submitting their work here. Inculde a working email address.
Finally, be sure to completely credit the author in the Author's
Comments section. Include the author's name, email address, web site address,
and any other information that may be important.
8. Can I make changes to a story after you've archived it?
Yes. If there are only a few corrections, just send me a list of corrections. If you've revised the entire chapter or the entire story, please send me a URL where it is updated, or send it as an HTML attachment, MS Word file, or text file. Use this email: gohanxvidel@(removethis).com with subject: Revisions for ______ by ______.
9. Can I archive some of the stories that are on this site?
I can't give you that permission. You must ask the original author. Do not archive any story unless the author has given you explicit permission! The chances of you angering the author are very high because you're showing disrepect for not taking the time to ask permission.
10.
Can you beta read my story?
No. I'm an archivist, not a beta reader. Plus, I'm more focused upon my own stories and I've never truly been a beta reader before. I'd go with some with more experience. You can check here for useful information on finding a beta.
11. Can I recommend a story? (Monthly Recommendations)
Sure.
12. I submitted a story to this site and never got a response.
I try my best to sort through my email, from junk to actual mail, as quickly and correctly as possible. However, it takes a very long time, I'm very busy because this is my senior year. Again, I'm sorry, but I'm only one person and there's only 24 hours in a day.
13. My story doesn't fit your guidelines exactly. Should I bother submitting it?
The guidelines are just that: guidelines. They're meant to give readers a general idea of what to expect here. Although, certain areas such as "no yaoi, yuri," and "no copy-cats," won't change. Sorry but this is after all a heterosexual pairing.
14. Does the story have to be about Inuyasha x Kagome?
Yes. I will only archieve stories dedicated to this pairing, the primary. They cannot be in the background. Other couples such as (Miroku x Sango, Kagura x Sesshomaru) can be secondary.
